ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CLUB:- 

The land of the club is 70 Kanals, 2 Marlahs, & 6 Sarsahi. The club was established in 1910 and ever since has been promoting social cultural and sports activities in the region for the last 97 years. It has around 2000 members. It is situated in the heart of the city. It is at a distance of 2 Kms from the Railway Station and 13 Kms from the Airport. As regards the level of excellence and adequacy required of international norms, the Chenab club conforms to all the requisite standards measured by any yardstick. It can be confidently vouchsafed as a symbol of high social order.

Govt. Officers of NPS 17 & above and the civilians of well repute are admitted as Club members. First Provisional membership is given by Honorary Secretary or The President of the Club. The candidates are proposed by one and seconded by another permanent member of the club.

 

PERMANENT MEMBERSHIP OF THE CLUB:

The candidates are interviewed by the Executive Committee. They are elected by secret ballot. If  two or more members of the Committee are opposed to the admission of any person, such person shall not be elected.  A person not elected  shall not be eligible  for election again  for a period of six months  from the date of his rejection. If an applicant is rejected for the second time  by the majority of the committee , no further application by him for admission to the club  shall be entertained.
